Marc Jacobs has a penchant for picking some rather odd subjects for his ad campaigns, but we have to say this is the oddest one yet.
The designer handpicked “lesbian” Russian singing duo t.A.T.u for his new fall/winter ads, meaning everyone will be seeing a lot more of Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova come September. When was their last hit song anyway? And who actually went to see Mischa Barton in that film “Finding t.A.T.u.”??
We can’t say we fell in love with Jacobs’ last effort with Posh Beckham, but we were definitely intrigued — and currently curious to know if Lena and Yulia will be shot in liplock.
And, really, who can argue with photography by Juergen Teller?
